In order to protect and promote the public health, safety and general welfare of the residents of Adams Township, the following regulations are hereby enacted pursuant to authority vested in the township by Ohio Revised Code Chapter 519.28 et seq., as amended from time to time (“the Act”). Adams Township History
Adams Township was established in 1854 and is located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The township is home to a population of just over 4,200 people. The township covers a total area of 16 square miles.
The first settlers in Adams Township were farmers who arrived in the early 1700s. The township was named after John Adams, the second president of the United States. Adams Township was originally part of Washington County but became part of Allegheny County when it was established in 1788.
The first schoolhouse in Adams Township was built in 1803 and the first church was built in 1804. In 1854, the township was officially incorporated.
The township has a rich history and is home to several historic sites, including the George Washington Trail, Fort Necessity National Battlefield, and Braddock’s Grave. The George Washington Trail is a hiking trail that runs through Adams Township and follows the route that George Washington took during his 1753 expedition to claim the Ohio River Valley for Britain. Fort Necessity National Battlefield is the site of one of the earliest battles of the French and Indian War. General Edward Braddock was killed at this battle and his grave is located on site.

Adams Township is located in northeastern Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles northwest of Scranton. The township covers an area of 36 square miles and is home to a population of just over 4,000 people.
The township is bordered to the north by Wayne County, to the east by Susquehanna County, to the south by Lackawanna County, and to the west by Wyoming County.
Adams Township is made up of several small towns and villages, including Adamsville, New Milford, Oakland, South Gibson, and West Auburn. The township also contains two unincorporated communities: East Auburn and Lathrop Corners.
The landscape of Adams Township is mostly rural and agricultural, with some forested areas. The township is home to several farms as well as a state game lands.

Adams Township is a township located in the state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township had a population of 1,279. The township is located in the southeast corner of the state, bordering Ohio to the south and Indiana to the west.
The median income for a household in the township was $48,750, and the median income for a family was $52,813. Males had a median income of $40,625 versus $26,042 for females. The per capita income for the township was $20,761. About 3.5% of families and 4.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.3% of those under age 18 and 2.0% of those age 65 or over
