HVAC Company Recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in the U.S.

The study looked at data from over 7,000 companies across the United States to identify which ones offered the best work-life balance, compensation, and job satisfaction. Comfort Systems USA Completes Successful Acquisition
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading provider of mechanical services including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, piping, controls and automation to non-residential customers in the United States, announced today that it has completed the successful acquisition of privately-held Baker Triangle – Service Experts. Comfort Systems USA funded the cash purchase price of $75 million with cash on hand and borrowing under its credit facility.

Comfort Systems USA Ranked in Top 10 of ENR Top 600 Specialty Contractors
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading provider of mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services in the United States, announced today that Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine has ranked the Company in the Top 10 of its annual list of Top 600 Specialty Contractors.
ENR is a leading international publication that provides news and analysis for the construction industry. The Top 600 Specialty Contractors list is published annually and ranks contractors by their revenue in 11 market segments, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting.

Comfort Systems USA ranks #10 on the ENR Top 600 Specialty Contractors list with revenue of $2.1 billion in 2016. The Company has been included in the list for 20 consecutive years.
Comfort Systems USA Completes $1 Million HVAC Installation in New York City
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading provider of commercial, industrial and residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services, today announced the completion of a $1 million HVAC installation at a new mixed-use development in New York City.
The project consisted of the installation of 19 rooftop units, four exhaust fans and two Make-Up Air Units (MAUs) to provide ventilation for the building. Comfort Systems USA also installed 48 terminal units to provide heating and cooling for the residential units.
“We are pleased to have completed this project on time and on budget,” said John Voris, CEO of Comfort Systems USA. “Our team did an outstanding job in coordination with the general contractor and other trades to ensure a successful installation.”
The project is one of several that Comfort Systems USA has completed in New York City in recent months. In August, the company completed the installation of HVAC systems at two office towers in Manhattan totaling 1.1 million square feet.
Comfort Systems USA Opens New Office in Dallas
Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading national provider of mechanical services, announced today that it has opened a new office in Dallas, Texas. The new 6,000 square foot office is located at 12900 Preston Road, Suite 100 and will serve as the headquarters for the Company’s operations in North Texas.
“The opening of our new Dallas office is an important step in our strategy to continue to grow our business in Texas,” said Dwayne Johnson, Comfort Systems USA’s Chairman, President and CEO. “The new office provides us with a central location from which to better serve our customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and throughout North Texas.”
The Company also announced that Michael S. McLain has been named as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of its North Texas operations. Mr. McLain has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry and most recently served as the Vice President and General Manager of Trane’s commercial systems business in Dallas-Fort Worth.
