What is Miss USA?

History of the pageant

Biography of the current Miss USA

Miss USA is an annual pageant that is open to women aged 18-26 from all fifty United States. The current Miss USA is Asya Branch, who was crowned on May 2, 2021.

Branch is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is studying communication disorders. Branch has been involved in pageants since she was a teenager, and has competed in the Miss USA pageant twice before, in 2019 and 2020.

What she has done since winning the title

Since winning the Miss USA title, Asya Branch has gone on to have a successful career as a model and actress. She has appeared in numerous magazines and commercials, and has even starred in her own reality TV show. Branch is currently signed with Wilhelmina Models, one of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the world.

The Miss USA pageant will be held on May 2, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pageant will be televised live on Reelz. Ninety-two contestants will compete in the pageant, representing their home states and territories.
