I attended Scotland Neck High School and then went on to North Carolina State University where I received my degree in Political Science. After college, I worked for a few years as a lobbyist in Raleigh, NC before returning home to run for mayor.
I am married to my wife, Emily, and we have two children together. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, hunting, and watching football.
